Objectives of the group 

Facilitate access and the use of both public and private organizations by recently arrived LGBT immigrants. 

Support recently arrived LGBT immigrants in their efforts to integrate; help them define their short, medium and long term objectives, and ensure follow-up services.  

Offer services to help recent immigrants adapt to their new environment and facilitate a better understanding of Québec society.  

Help eliminate the isolation and rejection of LGBT newcomers.  

Publicize Québec human rights legislation to society in general, and especially to LGBT individuals and to organizations in contact with new immigrants. 

Sensitize Québec society to issues faced by LGBT immigrants in order to reduce prejudice from all sides. 

Promote the involvement, training and orientation of volunteers.  

Establish a contact network with other LGBT organizations around the world.
